Zululand Observer (Friday)

The Zululand Observer is proudly South African, and “Born and Bred” in Zululand. Indeed, Africa is in our blood, and we strive to contribute all we can to the amazing continent and country we call home.

Founded in 1969 by Regina Anthony, the Observer quickly rose in stature, and today is the largest publishing house in its area of distribution (from the Tugela River to Pongola, and inland, from Ulundi to eShowe, Melmoth, Nongoma and Hlabisa). It is with gratitude to fortune and hard work that we can say that what was once limited to Empangeni now enjoys considerable reach in KZN.

Our eight titles include the Zululand Observer Weekend Edition, Zululand Observer Monday Edition, Baywatch Eyethu, Zululand Eyethu, Northern Eyethu, Eastern Watch, and Agri Eco.

In step with the project of building an inclusive South Africa, we are also proud to point out that we have achieved a B-BBEEE Contributor Level 3 certification.
